Kill Resource on units is how much of a resource a player gets when they kill that unit. It automatically handles if the player is allied to the unit or not.
The + 10 or what ever ammount is done automatically. But it may have to be set on or off . I believe the on/off is on the actor but it may be on the unit. Generally this is set on by default.

Now i am having a huge problem with the same function. Though im using the updated builder and i dont see where the combat function is. If anyone could help me do this but witb the updated editor i would be so happy :)
Im having massive issues distributing minerals for getting a kill for my rpg. Im using the updated editor and i dont see the combat section that was talked about in this forum. Is there any way i can distribute said minerals for killing a certain unit type so that one unit may give you 2minerals and a different stronger unit across the map will give you like 50 minerals?
You might have disabled the category fields, so the "Combat -" tag won't show up. You can still find the field by searching for Kill Resource or browsing through the list until you find it.

I know it's easy to just do a unit dies give x player minerals...
But I have seen on some levels when you get a kill a little +10 or what ever number comes up from the units head... how do you do that?
I was thinking its probably in the data editor and you can give a unit a value? or am I off and you do it in a trigger?

If I go on to the data editor, go to unit, select the marine, then go onto combat, I can't see any options for Kill Resources?
