Number of events is basically unlimited. However I'd advice you only to group events of the same type.
Don't mix stuff like Unit Leaves Area and Player Enters Chat Message. That doesn't only not make any sense, but when you're trying to use event responses (Triggering Unit, Triggering Player, etc) and you're using responses which don't get used by the event that fired the trigger you'll get very strange results and/or errors.
If you added a second event for a trigger, would it overwrite the first one or would it add a second event?
If you can add a second one, is there a limit to how many you add?
No limit to events i believe, or at least a very large one i haven't hit yet.
Events don't overwrite each other. Its like copy pasting the same trigger just with different events and using less space.

Yeah alright, thanks.
So as long as I'm aware of using event responses and what comes along with it, I can do whatever with events. :)
@s3rius: Go Sheesh, the unclarity a simple compiler would solve... -_-
