For some reason the editor crashes when I open an upgrade field that is both "campaign related" and "melee related"
For example, Protoss Ground weapons, Terran Infantry weapons.
Pretty much any upgrade that both exists in campaign and melee. It crashes when it is trying to retrieve "Upgrade Effect"
Some people have reported that putting the Campaign files first in the Dependencies list instead of leaving them at the bottom fixes this issue for them. This is the solution that worked for me, too.
I made a new unit and wanted it to benefit from upgrades. In this case it was the Zerg armor upgrades. When I tried to add a new effect and change it's type to "Actor" (so the unit's armor icon would change with the upgrades) I would get a crash every time.
I tried doing the same with a fresh map (no custom units) and on a different, more powerful computer, and the crash still occurred.
Also, I tried DaFranker's solution. It allowed me to change the effect's type to "Actor," but when scrolling through the object drop-down box the editor crashed.
Any help would be appreciated!
