i have a trigger counting kills. a valid kill is if killer and owner are different.
because i don't like to add 10 different units to the trigger condition as don't count i want to use data and use the main condition.
i added a buff behavior to the unit, preventing death and calling the suicide effect on fatal dmg. but no matter how i change impact and launch location of the suicide. either the attack dies or the attacker is still the killer. you can see it at the killer unit too. it still gets the kill
Try to use the suicide as Effect - Final instead and use a Remove Behavior effect on a fatal damage response. If that doesn't work, add a 0.0625 delay inbetween.

I'm using a Create Persistent as response effect with an expire delay of 0.0625 now. On persistent final i suicide and it doesn't count :)

no that was the first thing i added to the suicide.
i guess it is only for the after game stat/points.
Yeah, I have noticed some stuff like the stand animations still seep through even if you disable them being used.
