I was wondering if attack range is a distance between center of an attacked unit and attacking unit, or is it between some unit's radius/footprint and attacking unit. If so, how to change "vulnerable" radius?
For example: I have a building with 2x2 footprint, and I don't want melee units to attack it straight in the actor(model), but to attack it a bit onwards. And I don't want to expand footprint.
I'm not sure, but I suspect it's the distance between attachment points, and if that is the case I don't think it would be possible to change the distances... Or maybe you can change it in the model data object, the same way you set shield radii, in attachment properties or whatever the field was called.
This is entirely not based on facts though.
Well, I know if you have units whose radius appears way larger than it really is, the unit models sort of clip into each other, so I assume the case would be the same for attacking. If you make the unit's radius smaller than what the actor's appears to be, they probably will have to attack "further into" the unit.
Oops, I described it not properly. I meant I want them to attack it a bit onwards from unit, outside the model.
About radius: I found that unit doesn't use its radius at all if it has a footprint. I would like to delete the footprint, but if buildings use its radius, it messes up paths for units.

Hope you understand the idea. Thanks.

I dunno, give it a try

Ok, nvm problem is solved
