Do not set any costs under the Morph ability because it automatically costs the difference between the two units set under the Units data type. That is unless you have the Ignore Unit Cost flag enabled.

I didn't set any cost on the morph itself. Those were just costs on the actual units. The first set of costs above are the unit costs, the second set were how much they cost to upgrade to when testing the map.
Morph costs during the arcade beta and maybe before:
- Displayed value:
[ability's technology costs] + [costs of target unit] - [costs of source unit's subgroup alias unit]
- Value used for red markers & requirement:
[ability's technology costs] + [costs of target unit] - [costs of source unit]
- Value that you actually pay:
[costs of target unit] - [costs of source unit]
So, don't use the technology cost and set the subgroup alias to the unit itself.
I set up a series of buildings and upgrades:
Anyone know exactly how the calculations work so that I can know what costs to set on my buildings to get the right direct build/upgrade costs?
Thanks!

Making sure the subgroup alias was set did the trick! Thank you!
This changed, it now also calculates the cost of the morph itself. So it is:
[Cost of the morph] + [costs of target unit] - [costs of source unit]
