so i need to increase actor size for each behavior not set i know how to do that there is no increase scale in the events - events +.so if you know how to do this plz tell and i cant do this in triggers
Ugh I did this on one of my maps - making marines sumo stylee - but I'm currently out of the country and can't check!
It's something like 'set scale'.
Sorry to be so vague but like I said - I'm away this week!
This will double the current unit scale by 2 every time one of those behaviors are added on. With 2 of these, the unit is 4 times larger than normal. With 3, 8 times larger.
If you only have Behavior X, and it lasts 5 seconds, the unit remains at the new scale even if the behavior expires. Re-applying Behavior X again will NOT increase the scale again. Once per behavior only.
Best bet is to experiment, probably with something like 1.2 scale, or 1.1 if there will be alot of behaviors.
Just do what you can. Challenge 2 clearly states this should stack indefinitely if possible. If you don't feel like using more than 1 behavior or something, make use of some clever model swapping/re-scaling to a max of like 5 or something.
Again, it's an exercise/challenge for fun. Do what you can, learn some stuff, become better, and come back to it in a few months. Maybe the solution is extremely simple. That's how I finally made my Slip Stream ability.

that's not strictly true - each time you apply the behaviour the scale would be set, but to the constant value you specified. So it would grow no larger than 1.2 for instance. (as you can shrink and grow using the same events until the cows come home)
Is there any way of using a sort of variable set scale value? If you could then that would solve the problem?

In the behavior, go to modifications + . Thats where you can set up all that stuff. I THINK scale is in there somewhere, you may have to look around.

sorry zeldarules i couldn't find it i just know how to increase it once with the actor

hey i know how to do that lol i want to INCREASE the size each time a behavior is added

ok borg yeah its one behavior because its for the uber challenge 2...
@aczchef: Go
hmm, maybe do model swapping? Looks like its time for you to think outside the box ;)
@BorgDragon: Go
ugh i hate doing that lol umm i cant believe there is no way to increase size... but i cant have infinte amount of models just keep getting bigger

ok but i still encounter the same problem...how can i measure the behavior count in actors...
