Before patch 1.5, the /dance and /cheer commands could be suppressed by editing the Stop ability, setting State of the Cheer and Dance Commands to "Suppressed". Unfortunately after 1.5, these settings no longer suppress the behavior. My goal is to disable the ability for a player to cause an ally's units to dance by selecting the unit and typing "/dance". Any suggestions?
LOL I tried to find what you're talking about, I really did. Can you pretend I'm a 9 year old girl and explain how I can find what you're talking about? I'm not seeing a "Data Type" tab in the Data editor...and no "UI - Fidget" under any Unit...?
ALSO, this needs to prevent the Stop ability from being fired on the selected unit...I've found that some other solutions will still make the unit stop when "/dance" or "/cheer" is used by an ally.
If not already present, open up a new tab with the green +, select Edit Game Data -> Units
Select your desired unit
Make sure, you enabled Show Default Values, Show Advanced Values, Combine Structure Values and Table View
Look for the Unit: Taunt Duration+ field. It is easy to find by using the search bar on the right above all the fields. Type "Taunt" there, and only one field should remain
Change the durations for cheer and dance from the default (usually 5) to 0.

You can just set the Dance and Cheer time to 0. That should fix it ;)

Under the Units data type the UI - Fidget - Chance Array field.
