I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of the need of a ranged weapon for the guardian shield to reduce its damage, meaning melee weapons would also have damaged reduced when attacking units under the shield.
I'm sure this may be apart of either the behavior of the guardian shield or the "search area" effect.
I think you have to go to the behavior that gets applied by the shield, check the field Combat: Damage Response +
it says "kind" and ranged is flagged, so also flag melee.
