Is there any way to find out which attachement points are viable for a model, other than trial and error? I'm trying to apply shields to the colonist transport, but a single shield is either too small, or too big, and I can't figure out which attachment points are viable to use as points for the shields. I'm looking to do this same process for other models as well, mostly just because they're too big for a single shield to look halfway decent.
In the preview window you can turn on 'attachment points' and it'll show them as little triangles all over the model, when you pick one in the right-side menu it'll animate the particular triangle associated with the point. This was definitely something I was frustrated about as well until I discovered that view options.
