I was still busy working on my imported units, everything works perfectly now except that the model portaits of the imported models are not positioned right. In the screenshot below you can see only the LichKings feet -.-, anyway to fix this? I have been looking around though and saw you can alter a portaits offset via a trigger, but ofcourse i want to fix this trough the data editor.
I copied the portrait actor and let the lichking actor use the copy, i started altering the stuff u said but for every sopattach i added the modelportait became black, couldn't even see the feet anymore...
Hey, been reading a bit about SOp's but couldn't find localoffset SOp on the portraitactor. I didn't really know which datafield to edit but i assumed it was one of these 2:
Hosting: Host Site Operations +
Hosting: Hosted Attachments +
I tried like every Sop individually on both of them, all resulting in a black model portrait :(
Try the Hosting - Host Site Operations - Operations field rather.
The Site Operation (Local Offset) is an actor type and a SOp that adjusts the vector coordinates of the actor. Make a custom one as portrait actors may experience a huge effect with very small offsets.
Not doing anything yet, see in screen what i did, i tried bot with the hold position/rotation on/off if it matters. Why must it be such a pain to position the modelportraitcamera..... still looking for a solution though so if you still have some ideas, keep it coming ;]
You could try to mess with the camera of the portrait model. The model object has a field to change the camera; however I am not sure, if it takes priority over a camera attached to the model file. There are several cameras you can use, usually named something like Star32..., maybe one of them fits your needs (if changing them actually makes a difference).
Nahh it isn't working, I give up... i also tried making the modelportrait static but also didn't have any luck there becus for the actor field you can only put .m3 ... then i tried making a modelportait and set image to the lichking image but ...............................................................

Tried altering the SOp (Attachment) used by the Portrait type actor used by the Unit type actor?

Nahh, i made a custom SOp Actor - local offset and added it to portraitactor data:
I tries the Z value and a lot of others, but it seems to have zero effect, the portrait isn't black but also isnt moved at all.
Tried having the SOpAttachOrigin SOp before it?
