Im in the same situation u are AMtrane. You have to create custom unit/model/actor for the units and the m3 files are what you get from the dependancy. Don't forget that you also need to add the death models as well. Im trying to figure it out atm and once i do ill let you know. Im kinda new to the data editor so it might take a bit.
Is there anyway to use those models? some of the creature on there like stank and upgraded brutalisk. I used left 2 die as dependencies and no dice
This should suffice. How did you add the dependency?

file > dependencies > add others > left 2 die. Download
That's how I did it for liberty campaign and it worked for those units
The dependency does only add the assets, no model data objects. Did you try to add new model objects using those assets?

If the map is not protected, just go to Open -> Battle.Net and search for the map you want to open.

the models and death models are already created by blizzard. It's in the left 2 die game. Idk how to access them.
Yes the left 2 die stuff is known to cause issues.
