Hey everyone, yet another topic from me. I'm having trouble with some of the terminology used in the editor, so although I've been looking at everything in the editor, the answer to these questions may seem very easy and straightforward, and may even be in front of me, so I apologize in advance.
1. How can I make it so the "Heal" ability can target more than one unit?
2. What is the significance of making a unit "heroic"? Does it give resistance to abilities like mind controlling type things, or is it just a special designation to prevent that unit from getting upgrades, etc.?
First one, add a search area to the abilitie if u dont know what im talking about reply and i try to explain to you. Second the attribute "Heroic" its just a atribute like "Biological" "Heavy" "Armored" and so just a atribute, and atributes are used to "Identify" the type of unit, its is possible to make skills that dont effect "Heroic" units and such. Oh and btw etc its what?

Heroic has the same effect on a unit as Armored, Light, Biological, etc. so in other words, none whatsoever. But as with all attributes, some things work better against certain attributes or not at all and some things worse. If you make a unit that deals +5 damage to heroic, itll deal +5 damage to heroic.
Now there might be other side effects of heroic, but i dont know of them/havent noticed them
For the heal ability, depends how its constructed. There's a billion ways to make a heal ability, most of which have a different way of making it multitarget.

Is there a simple way without triggers to allow this? I just want to heal multiple targets.
No triggers. Search effects can do it most of the time, but it still depends on how the ability is made because using search effects with the medivac ability won't be very good because if it stops healing other units it wont start healing as many units as it can until you cancel and restart the ability.

Also, would "target" be a good thing to search for with the "Heal" ability? I'm assuming I'd modify the effect.
