Hello everyone. Thanks for taking time to read through this post I will try to make this brief. As of late I have been experiencing a problem in the data editor whenever I attempt a duplication of another unit. I wanted to make a custom version of a Roach and so far I have tackled problems with the burrowing ability and made the unit work just fine, however the only problem that I encounter is that the new unit I have made, or renamed, "Skrum" is somehow still linked to the melee Roach unit. Whenever I attempt to name my new unit "Skrum" I find that the Roach melee unit also has its name changed and upon going back to the melee unit to change its name back to the proper "Roach" it changes my custom unit's name to "Roach" and not "Skrum". Why can I not have two separate names for two different units? Why must they share a name? What am I doing wrong in this duplication process?
Thought I would include the map. I am only modifying blizzard's toxic slums and want to keep the melee units as they are. I want my custom unit to not be associated with the melee Roach.
Firstly the last thing bnet needs is yet another mdofied melee map. Second you will find they are sharing the same text key under the Unit - Name field. Like with renaming life armor and shield armor you need to change the last part to your new unit else they are sharing the same name string.

<<reply 338792>Cheers! Thanks for your help. Had never noticed the text key name above the unit name. That fixed it perfectly. I know there are a lot of these modified b net maps, but i only wanted to try my hand at making one for myself. This map is purely for fun between my friends and I, since we play lots of ffa melee games, so again thanks for the help.
