I tried doing it through actors but it doesn't work. My map is based around light/dark areas, in which you build units to illuminate areas, but I cant seem to be able to make the units give off light while they're alive by attaching one of the omni light actors to it.
You can try to tint a Omin light black, that way it seems its "off".
Well I could do that to symbolize the light being off, but I need to find a way to attach the light to the unit in the first place.. When you do it through actor events it doesn't show up, even when my graphic options are at the appropriate levels.

Any solutions?

does no one know anything about this?
Try making it a model type actor that is hosted on the unit model of your choice as an attachment?
