I'm about to make a mini-game style of map, with a lot of different small games. While all the guys playing are on one mini-game, I don't want them to be able the see the other areas of the map on the mini-map, and neither do I want them to be able to move the camera away from a given area on the map. Would this be achievable through changing maps ingame using triggers or something, or through something else?
Also, one of these mini-games needs complete darkness, so that you can see nothing except the area right in front of the player's unit. How do I make the map completely dark and make a light follow a unit? Like a flashlight.
Hi, I have 3 questions.
I'm about to make a mini-game style of map, with a lot of different small games. While all the guys playing are on one mini-game, I don't want them to be able the see the other areas of the map on the mini-map, and neither do I want them to be able to move the camera away from a given area on the map. Thanks!
This can be done through the trigger action ''set camera bounds'', and here is a post about flashlights. http://forums.sc2mapster.com/development/galaxy-scripting-and-trigger-lib/6931-easy-flashlight/
