What are these cracked egg-looking things that appear on the map in random spots? What do they represent and how can I remove them? I can provide a screenshot if need be.

@NeroClaudiusDrusus: Go I'd guess you're talking about destructible rocks icon. You probably placed something in the map that uses it.

Under the Actors you can set the minimap icon for units and doodads.

@NeroClaudiusDrusus: Go I guessed right. Whatever you placed there uses that icon. As DrSuperEvil said check the actor and remove that icon.
