Well, here's the deal. I made this nice ability for my reaper, it works. Now the actor I am trying to use to animate the damage effect doesn't work.
Made a new actor model style one shot I think? Anyways, I copied it exactly from the Thor 250mm impact model, and nothing. I don't know what to change. The Reaper Attack actor works just fine with the same effect.start actor event. So at this point, i'm stumped and would like some outside opinion.
Your Actor Events look fine to me... are you sure the Damage Effect is actually being applied? Specifically, at the target unit? If it's not, the actor won't fire.
Another problem (kind of a long shot, but it happened to me once) is your actor model might be one of those models that requires "high" or "ultra" settings in Starcraft 2. If you're on lower graphics settings, the actor will be there correctly, but it just won't show up on your screen.
