Uhhh yeah so I tried restarting my editor a few times and it seems I just can't make any changes because the OK button is always grayed out - in every field of every dialog - in the data editor. What's up with this cataclysmic error? I've tried opening multiple maps. Always the same thing.
I am opening the same files, from the same directories, as I always have (.sc2map). I have not moved files around at all since this problem started. Also, like I said before, I can't edit any maps (even those from other people that I opened in the editor)
But before you do it, make sure you do not have anything important in your SC2 install dir, as it will instantly be deleted and can not be recovered when you uninstall (which takes a matter of seconds). So if you have any maps saved in your SC2 folder, make sure that you move them to another direction of your computer.
Othervise, try to open the editor with no map, and see if the error persists.
What are the dependencies of the map you are using? I know that if you have multiple dependencies and you select one and its not the main one, you cannot do anything with that object.

What type of file are you opening in the editor? Might be relevant.

You might want to reinstall SC2.

Still alive and kicking, just busy.

A brand new map did not have this error, somehow. Reinstalling SC2 from scratch seemed to fix it. What a headache.
