I want to create an ability that launches a missile towards a target location, dealing damage to all enemy units on it's path (but only once per unit).
I would do it like a colossus beam that just has a missile like visual that is attached to a Site (Mover) that follows a Create Persistent effect.
Else just launch the missile at an offset using a create persistent effect with a mover that has a Throw driver. Have the ammo Unit use a periodic buff that does the damage and applies a second buff tp targets preventing additional hits, or use markers.
