So I've been working on a mod as of late, and currently have ran into two problems with protoss structures. Here they are:
1. I've made a duplicate of a photon cannon that does not require a power field to be activated, but the actor makes it appear as though it is unpowered. Why is that?
2. I've made a structure that uses the force field model as a structure, but it becomes unselectable once it is created. Any explanation as to why this is?
@jwh741: Go Try removing the macro from the photon cannon actor. I dont remember the name, but it has something to do with power animations.
2) the force field model doesnt have the necessary hit tests, that's why you can't select it. Attach an invisible sphere to your actor and resize it to match your force field size.
@jwh741: Go Create an actor (type model) for it if there isn't one already (I dont remember), that uses the sphere model. Add events to set the opacity to zero on creation. Add an event to your force field actor to create it, much like other attached models.
Ah I figured out what I was doing wrong. The name of the actor was Force Field Wall, but the editor also has another actor under the same name XD, Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help on #1. Everything is now working fine for that unit. For #2, how do I attach an invisible sphere to the actor?

Remove the "ProtossBuildingPowerUp" Macro
allows the protoss building to appear powered.
