You know the shockwave that killed all the zergs in the last campaign map of the Wings of Liberty sc2? I want to use that but currently my project used multiplayer mode and have no access to campaign mode.
Is there a way you can change to campaign mode and use its abilities, while not losing the works that was put in before in the multiplayer mode?
try changing the map's dependencies to include campain.
also, you can do that with triggers, so if it comes to that, triggers are probably the way i would go.
Normally I would tell you to just add the campagin dependencies and press okay. But I believe I saw in a recent patch that you can't have melee and campaign dependencies together anymore. If that's the case, back up your map first (just in case) and then replace the melee dependencies with the campaign ones.
Dependencies are likes hunks of pre-built data you can use. Your custom made units and abilities are stored as xml in a separate location, so you should be able to keep them without any problems.

Go to file > dependencies.
