I thought there was a way to do this but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know how to make unit actors appear even if the unit is off-screen? I have some massive units in my map, each with a small radius (they're planets) and when the camera pans over them they sort of snap into existence. I want them to render around the edge of the model, not the edge of the unit. This would prevent the snapping effect. Any ideas?
It seems when I remove the fog of war the snapping problem goes away. It's less than ideal, but by creating a revealer on the unit (or sharing vision) when it's within a certain range seems to work.
You can set a unit to always be visible, it's somewhere near it's minimap radius.
It'll likely be a better solution than removing fog of war. The downside is you'll always know where all the planets are, though that's probably quite realistic anyway.

@BasharTeg: Go
It's a problem with your model's bounds. I'm not sure if the editor can change model bounds or if it's part of the M3 format.
