Should work simple: there is a protector unit A, and protectable units B1, B2. If B1 and B2 recieve 5 dmg each, A recieves 10 dmg, and B1 and B2 stay with full hp.
It can be done by adding heal aura to unit A, with hp as a cost for healing. But I ask for more appropriate methods, maybe there are some exist.
Just tried it and realized, that it's not so useful for my aim. When I start to build a conjoined building, other buildings get low hp. When I apply hp regen to one of the buildings, it doesn't work, because they all have the lowest amount of hp. Was interesting to try though.

The "Conjoined" behavior type makes units share the damage they receive.
But if one dies, all other units die, too.
This has been used for the trains in the campaign.
It all makes sense now! I always wondered about that.

try using the conjoined behavior but add a buff to each of the protected units which prevents damage on them. sth like that may solve your problem
You can give B1 and B2 a behavior with a damage response to leech life from A until fully healed.
