Having problem with units orders, following other unit.
How to disable following same kind unit only.
From unit flags disabling untargetable disables to attack it? It still have to be targatable as enemy and possible as your own unit but would stop following it.
Here is gameplay of it. In the beginning there is hero unit where all army stored, etc. And when moving it it consumes energy and triggers events detects when custom move ability used etc then behavior added which drains energy or removed. But when clicking on same kind of hero unit he follows it and triggers events dont detect that he is standing next each other and not moves and drains all energy off.
So you use a custom Effect - Target ability that uses an Issue Order effect to move to the target location and by having a move speed greater than 0 you enable a buff that drains energy and when energy reaches 0 you enable a second buff that disables movement? Just set the validators for the Issue Order effect to a Unit Type validator so it can no longer target units of that type.

Ok so now at least there will be less uses of triggers for energy drain. But that dont solves Targeting your own same type units?!
Was trying to add ability Herd to unit but when changed target to point or unit it not likely to move to target location and right click not works... Have to use commands.. Without ability effect-target not possible to make untargetable your own units and or at least it will stop following it.?
Or.... add validator not moving?

If my ability type is Move and separated From other units Move type ability? And dont have a way to add that effect Order?
Maybe you could give more details as to how you have rigged this system up?

DO NOT!! It only drains Energy which could be use for further movements. Ability dont stop casting and Unit loses all of energy.

as we had same problem before and i was trying to do such things myself and it was failure and this project was delayed till this week beginning. :)
edit: just tried making it. it request for target unit and when i targeting unit game freezes and after few sec crashes :]]
Make a buff that is activated by a move speed greater than 0.
The freezing tends to mean you have some repeating/replicating loop in either events, actors or triggers.
