Fair enough I guess.
I'm doing my best to learn a lot of things all at once.
Unfortunately I have very limited time due to family commitments, etc.
I have certain ideas, that I don't want to waste a bunch of time on if they are not possible.
I'm not asking for anyone to give me a step by step run down of exactly how to do what I mentioned, I'm just asking if its possible.
If its a firm 'yes', then fantastic! I can continue planning things based around that. But if its not possible I don't want to waste a bunch of time doing something that isn't going to work in the long run.
Yeah, it's possible to modify weapons via upgrades. For example, turning Immortals from anti-armor to anti-light, go to the Upgrade's effects, add the Immortal's damage effect and set its bonus damage vs armored to 0, while setting the bonus damage vs light to 30 or whatever. And to make them attack air units only, add the Immortal's weapon in and change its target filters to Air=Required and Ground=Allowed.
If you meant something like giving completely new weapons to units, that's possible too. You'd have to turn on the Disabled and Hidden flags for the secondary weapons (except for the base weapon you want your unit to use) and give them to the unit along with the base weapon. Then via an upgrade, turn the Disabled and Hidden flags off for the secondary weapon you want to activate, and preferably turn the same flags on for the base weapon so the unit won't use it anymore. (unless you want it to, but it might create some conflicts if the two or more weapons can attack the same targets)
Is it possible to create an upgrade that completely changes the attack\weapon of a unit?
For example:
Creating an upgrade for a Immortal that changes its attack from anti-armour to anti-light.
or from a ground only attack, to an air-only attack. etc
Thanks :)
@XViper: Go
did you have a look into upgrades yet? for example tosh easy mode.
Not really no.
What is "tosh easy mode"??
@XViper: Go
well i don't get it, you didn't even try to find out yourself

Hope this helps.
That's perfect Stealth!
I was after both sets of information.
Thanks heaps.
