was wondering if anybody has a link to a tutorial where a perk system was developed in the data editor. A good example of a map on Bnet is the card games however I want certain abilities to be enabled depending on scores or kills achieved on a specific map for a melee style game that can be selected on the U.I. and also chosen on the selection screen depending on the amount of experience players have.
sounds like just a bunch of pasive abilities you make , then add a bank system (via triggers ) to see if player has XX exp or kills or game win or w/e u want . maybe have a UI that pops at start of game to allow players to pick the perk they want .
- Passive abilities
- bank system
- Dialogs
look does up ( plenty of tutorial on all of them ) then link them all together.

I was thinking of doing this for my sniper map, which stills seems like an awesome idea, if one could do it right and properly tie it into the gameplay.
