I am wanting to have all units available to build in a custom map (firebats, lurkers, ect ect)
I changed my dependencies and I can see the units available in the map editor, but when I test the game or play it on battle.net, the Terran barracks builds, but then says it's a Factory when I try to build any units and it then shows that I can build nothing.
I am guessing the campaign dependencies are messing that up, but how can I get all of these units to be buildable in the custom map?
@Mistrzem: Go
If you want the extra units you have mentioned, add the liberty campaign dependencies. (See attached image)
Also note that not all campaign units are buildable. Some are just placed down for a specific mission. The brutalisk for example, I don't believe can be built. As far as why you can't build anything at a factory, that may be because you loaded the wrong dependency(s) or that you didn't load enough. You'll need to give us more information on that subject either way.
I had all 4 dependencies loaded. I tried the order that is in the screen shot, and also tried putting the Liberty Campaign then Liberty Story Campaign, then the other 2.
So the Brutalisk I could care less about (though I have seen it in Marine Arena, but that's not a normal custom game), but my problem is, I build a barracks, and then I start to train a marine, and when I click the barracks again, it says it's a factory and there is no option to build anything, and when I try to build a factory, it says I need a barracks first.
I can skip building anything at the barracks and then build an actual factory, but as soon as I try to train anything (other than SCVs), both the factory and the barracks go blank.
And if it means anything, the Ghost Academy is called Shadow Ops.
The best thing at this point would be to create a new file, and don't load the extra dependencies until you have created the new file. From there, see if you have any issues.
Thanks Silvermage, that seemed to work for my problems with the barracks/factory.
Now I am having problems getting lurkers. I can put the button in the hydralisk den to mutate into the lurker den, but I have no idea on what to put under ability and ability command.
And also, is there a way to copy and paste the whole map (starting positions, minerals, ect) to a new map? I know I can copy the terrain, but I would like to copy all or portions of the map where starting positions are and minerals.
You can copy everything, although that is time consuming. If you are trying to make a melee style map you might as well just pick a blizzard map and edit it.
As for unit command cards and such i'll give you a few tutorials to look at:
Here's an attached map I made. This has been floating on the forums for awhile but this version is slightly updated and whatnot(general fixes like uncancelable Lurker Den upgrade is now cancelable). Fully functional lurkers, also gave the Hydra their SC1 movespeed upgrade, Lurker attack range is upgradable, and Zerg Missile Weapons and Zerg Ground Carapace now upgrade the lurkers properly.
Thanks. I was hoping to be able to figure out and learn how to do that and how to add a custom unit, but I fail at this stuff lol.
I found a lurker mod that I just add to my dependencies and it works great.
Wish I could find a mod for the Reaver model I found on this site. I for the life of me can't figure it out, even after the tutorials.. :(
Edit: And how to I download the Ultimate_Lurkers.SC2Map file? I click it and it just takes me so a page with random characters.

There are several campaign morph abilities for buildings. Seems like some of those are messing up because you are lacking the campaign only techs.
Dont know why it is messing up like that for you.
Try deleting some of the show unit requirements.
