Hello everyone, I have tried to make the Korhal Flag gatherable to no avail. I have tried copying the same things as on the mineral field. But with no success

I want it so the flag is a players flag when the person dies, but you can pick it up and take it back to a safe zone and it revives him making the hero and getting rid of the flag, but im not really sure how to do that
Instead of giving it a resource behavior, you can give the flag unit an autocast ability tih a very short range, and when it is cast the flag is attached to the unit that "picked" it.
what do you mean picked unit? i want the flag being picked up to sti;ll the playeer that died, and when it is returned, it spawns the unit as it was before it dieed
Exactly. As an example, you can make the ability target only "self" which means only the player who is the flag owner. Then when the player brings a unit close to it the autocast spell makes it attach itself to that unit. Then you can apply a behavior to that unit like "holding flag", so it can be returned to wherever it is needed to.
while we are here, i also have an issue with my pylon, it is able to walked through. I am not sure why, i tried to change the footprint than this happened, probs really easy.
In addition, can you give me a step by step way on how to do the auto - cast spell. I copied from the mineral pallet pickup100 minerals

The footprint editor is buggy and you need to go to the Shape - Borders field and manually change every third number to the right pathing type, 2 is unpathable.
Sure you have the right autocast filters with your ability?

You can duplicate the one that is the closest to what you want, or you can create one from scratch. You need an Ability - Target. You need to set the 'autocast' and 'autocast on' flags for it. In the Autocast filters you need to set what type of unit will be able to gather it: check 'self' so only the owner will be able to gather and you can exclude some unit types to avoid losing your flag to a structure or even a missile. Make it have a short range so it can only be activated when there's a unit next ot it.
When the ability is all set up and running you need to create the effects for it. I guess there are a few options to do what you want, I'd simply make it remove the flag unit and apply a behavior to the targeted unit. This behavior can have some different effects to make it look more real. You can make it so the unit drops the flag when killed, you can make the flag appear on the unit and so on.
Then you need to create the effects, or maybe triggers, I don't know which one will work for your case, to remove the behavior and revive your hero under the right circumstances.
Ok, so i want it to only be able to be gathered by other probes, so when probe a dies, no ultralisk can pcik it up, but anyother probe can and when it reaches region start it revives and becomes a probe, that basically it?
That's one simple example. Yes you can make it so only workers can gather it, set the filter 'Worker' to 'Required' and no other unit will be able to pick it up. If you want the unit to be revived then the flag is brought to a region you will have to do it using triggers.
Ok, the problem is, is that my probe will not autpomatically pick up the flag when it is near the flag, nothing happens. I dont know what i am doing wrong, can you try adn make it a bit simpler to understand? (sorry im so nooby with data) So you remove effects from the detail view? not table view? I am not sure at all, any help will be greately appreciated .
Just to be clear what u want. You want a unit that can carry the flag in like capture the flag?
Take a loot at the attachment below. You can capture the flag with the marine. The only thing I haven't included is that the flag won't drop, but this is just a test I made so you can see how its done. =3
(EDIT): I uploaded a newer version with flag drop on death.

For a start you failed to set the Behavior - Resource State and Behavior - Resource Type fields.

I am basing it off the mineral pallet but the flag keeps dissappearing, how do i change that?
