The Raven spawns an Auto-Turret at target location.
The Auto-Turret has an ability that is initially set to Auto-cast.
When the Auto-Turret is spawned, it has a "deploy time" for the first 5 seconds, which prevents it from attacking or auto-casting the ability.
(This is done via a buff that is added to the Auto-Turret. It disables abilities and attacks, and has a duration of 5 seconds.)
The problem is that players can NOT turn off the Auto-cast of the ability, until 5 seconds have passed.
At that time, the Auto-Turret sometimes casts the ability so quickly so players have no chance to control it.
Is it possible to turn off Auto-cast on an abilitie while it is disabled by a buff?
You can make the buff use an issue order effect, which deactivates the autocast, but you would need one effect for all abilities which can be affected by this. I do not know a general-case solution.
Instead of using a buff to disable the ability, add 5 seconds to the Ability Cost - Time Start for the ability. This sets an intial cooldown for the ability, like how the Mercs in WoL start with a 5 minute cooldown, or Kerrigans super ability in HotS
