Go to the ability, in the top right corner of the window, right above the fields, is an empty bar. Type "Range" in it. A few fields will show up, like Autocast Range and the actual cast range field (Not sure what its prefix is), double click the actual range field and it'll open a new small window, double click the number in it and it will allow you to change it.
EDIT: Also make sure you are using table view. Im sure you can find tons of screenshots in various tutorials of how its supposed to look (To put it simple, 2 columsn, left is the name right are the values). There are orange buttons at the top of the data editor which allow you to change how it looks, mouse over them to get a tooltip. You'll generally want Table View and Advanced Fields enabled (At least when asking help on mapster), there's also another button that hides default fields or something (You wont see any grey/default value fields if its enabled), dont use that either when following instructions on mapster.
I cant supply a screenshot atm due to my limited internet

You might want to go to the tutorials section and take a look at the "Mapster Mentoring" sticky, you'll find a long list of people, their specialties and how/where to contact them if you want their help :)

The Table View search option is very handy, Detail View does not come with it (or at least I can't find it).
But Table View looks too "texty" for me, if you know wut I mean.

I don't understand wut do you mean, but I am pretty sure I can survive without it.

I will keep that in mind.

I am fairly new to the map editor.
I am unable to change the Cast Range for Ghost - Nuclear Strike because I can't find it.
Can someone quickly help me out here?

First of all, Thanks very much, for hasty reply. Really appreciated.
