This is my first post, as usually I'm able to work through issues or find my answers here, but this issue has been tormenting since I started making a new map and I've never been able to fix it or find any answers so I hope somebody could help me out a little.
My issue is basically that the first instance of a model (Combat: Launch Asset) will come up invisible/missing the first time it is being used when loading up the map in-game. For example, the first time a Marine would attack a target, its muzzle-flash (Combat: Launch Asset) will not be visible the first time around, but it will start being normally displayed on the second shot and so forth. This issue starts occurring again intermittently as time passes, or it could be a certain action I am not sure what would cause it to be missing again, but in general, on the second shot and so forth the effect would display correctly.
It's not that big of a deal but this has been bothering me for a long time. Most of the affected units are duplicated units, however this also occurs to my default Marine (perhaps because it was duplicated?), so I am thinking maybe I'm doing something wrong with the duplicating of certain units.
If anybody has any ideas or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
From what I can understand, if certain elements of a Unit duplication are left unchecked, it might create issues with the original copied elements. Something to do with the model being linked to more than one Actor perhaps? The oddity came from the fact that the originally copied elements were left untouched and were still default, hence why I thought it was unusual since I did not directly edit any fields in it.

Nothing was changed with the original files, when you were duplicating. The model is set to be ignorable by default, like many other minor launch or impact attachments for weapons, most prominent example being the Firebat's flames, which almost never show up for the first attack as well. This is done to improve the performance most likely, although I do not know the exact effects it has on the performance. I would assume, it delays the loading of the model to the moment, where it is actually used, thus decreasing map loading time, but thats just a guess.

Model - Tab -> Marine Attack Launch -> Flags + -> uncheck Ignorable
@Cyberblaze: Go
Don't duplicate units. ;)
@Kueken531: Go
Thank you very much! :)

Thanks again!

I am trying not to when possible.
So duplicating Units might cause issues, but what about creating a new Unit and then linking a duplicated Actor? Would this cause less issues?
It is usually the actors that cause the problems when duping.
