I'm looking to buff an auto turret's attack damage, but when I look through a "buff" the only options I see to modify something like that is Damage Dealt (Scaled) and (Unscaled) but the descriptions of those don't seem to be what I'm looking for.
Should I be buffing the weapon itself, or the unit?
Anyways, the overall goal here is to have an ability that targets a unit, and that unit gets a behavior (that can stack, with or without a limit, either way is fine) that increases it's attack damage. I'll then be using copies of this to modify attack speed, armor, etc. but I can see the range, attack speed and all that in the buff.
The damage dealt fields just add plain damage. If that is what you want, take it. You can also buff the damage by apercentage, if you use the Damage Fraction field.
The difference between scaled and unscaled for the flat damage buffs just determines, if the flat damage bonus is affected by additional percentage damage bonuses.
You can buff the unit or use upgrades to affect the weapon directly; however this only works on a per-player basis. If you want to modify single turrets without affecting other turrets of the same player and kind, use buffs.

Any suggestions?
