Been looking everywhere from tutorials already posted to google to search on the forums and have not been able to come up with anything, as well as looking 5 times over all the settings in the Behaviors tab, and just can't seem to find what I am looking for. If someone can point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful. What I'm trying to do is create the following attributes: Spell resistance, spell penetration, armor penetration, spell cooldown reduction and armor types like light armor, heavy armory etc. Mainly interested in stuff like Spell resistance and penetration atm though. I found out how to add spell power was read easy, but I can't find any damage reduction modifiers or anything of that sort, any help would be much appreciated, thank you for your time.
Thank you for your answer, where can I find the Damage Response? I tried looking for it everywhere. I looked in all the Behavior tabs but it's not there. I found a description about Damage Response on sc2 "Combat - Damage Response" but I can't find Combat as a data type anywhere. I'm guessing it's referring to the Behavior - Combat tab? which I've also checked a dozen times and cannot find it anywhere. Sorry I've only been using the editor for a few hours. What I'm trying to do is, just like I added Spell Power attribute by going to Behavior modification in the combat tab and adding +1 to Spell for Damage Dealt for each point I have of Spell Power. That's exactly what I want to do for Spell Resistance attribute, except I want just like there's a Damage Fraction option, I want a Damage Reduction Fraction. so for each point of Spell resistance I take 0.35% less damage from spells for example. Is this done through Behavior or should I be looking into something else? Thank you again for your time, sorry to bother with the newbie question.
Spell resistence requires a Buff type behaviour with a damage response. Base it off Kerrigan - Force Shield (Spell Damage) and put your spell penetration Damage effects into the Combat - Damage Response - Exclude Effect Array. That is presuming I am understanding you correctly if by penetration you means ignores the reduction.
The Modify Unit effect can be used to refund cooldown so think of something involving a periodic effect that resores a small fraction of the cooldown constantly.
Hello ladies and gents,

Damage responce.
Spell Penetration will be a nightmare, if not impossible, to make.

Did you enable all your view options of the data editor, especially Show Default Values and Show Advanced Fields?
You can do exactly what you want by using the damage response of a behavior.
