How do I an ability that toggles a weapon from disabled to enabled? I assume i have to have the weapon flag disabled checked, but how do I make the ability for it? I was thinking using a behavior ability and having the behavior give the unit the weapon, but I assume that would be for not having the weapon at all.
It's one of the fields under the modification field of the buff behavior under the weapon tab. There should be several fields where you can add values and one of them should be called Weapons Enabled.
there's turret enable and disable, but all i see is a field marked weapon. I put the weapon I wanted enabled in it, and when I test it just adds the weapon. It should be under behavior: modification and in the weapons tab, right?
so after looking on sc2mapster some more and at some general behavior editing stuff, it appears i'm missing those fields for some reason... would you know why?
and it's cause i didn't have show advanced values... *facepalm* i enabled it a while ago and i guess you have to enable on every map... thanks for the help.
so now I have a different issue, i've verified that they all enable the weapon they are supposed to, but any button I press after the first simply disables the weapon the first one enabled. Also, the buttons disappear afterwards. I'm thinking I might need to have them remove the previous buff since I had each buff enable one weapon but disable the others.
So, you have multiple buffs to be run through different abilities to enable different weapons?
Also, for your second problem of the buttons disappearing, behavior abilities are designed to be toggleable so you need to add a second button under commands for the ability in order to turn it off.

You can make a buff behavior that either gives a weapon to a unit or enables a weapon the unit already has.

Sounds like either your requirements are faulty or your abilities are not set up to remove the buffs correctly.
