I am trying to make a footprint for an actor which is scaled to 200%.
However, I can't get the model to scale up in the footprint data editor, so that I can make the footprint at the correct size.
Examples:
As you can see, the model doesn't scale up when I change the scale field. Changing the facing also does nothing. Is this some kind of bug or am I missing something?
I apologize if this is a newbie question, but I have looked at around 30 other topics on footprints and I could not find a solution.
I'm not sure but maybe that feature isn't complete yet. It took forever for Blizzard to even allow us to save custom footprints properly. You could try to do it the hard way, resize the footprint as you want, give it to the resized actor, then try in game to run around with a unit to check if the footprint is right.
It shouldnt be hard to resize the footprint as you want it to be 200%.
I ended up doing it using a transparent image overlay of the model. For some reason doubling the size to 14x14 didn't work, I had to measure it in the terrain editor and make it 11x11. And it's weird because the actual size of the 100% model in editor is just over 5x5 whereas in the footprint editor it's 6x6. I'm so confused. Anyway at least I got it to work I guess :)

Hmmm, I see.
