you click the button and 1 hammer starts to spin around you in a circle, about 2 times(720), anything it comes in contact with takes damage.
Also the pally spell where he burns the ground(pally from wow) click the button and an area on the ground where he was standing deals damage per second, the pally can move, but that spot will still be there for awhile
Can't help with the first one right now but for the second one, you can take a look at Psi Storm or Razor Plague(this one as long as you have the campaign dependency loaded) these both apply an effect that has X amount of duration at location and does X damage. Just change it from Targetable to Instant, and be sure to make the damage NOT affect the caster unit. Since I believe if you made it an Instant it will cast the ability directly ontop of the caster unit.
i know this is a necro post but i would like to know how to make blessed hammer and have it exactly like diablo so if you put points into it you can summon more

Same as the impact site mover of the colossus weapon. All it does is follow the impact locations of the Create Persistent effect and you just need to make the offsets of that be a spiral.

ok im gonna do it your way DrSuperEvil but one more question what would i put in the offset to make it go around the caster im modifying the colossus weapon directly in a test map to get a hang of it
here is some info on what i want:
- go around unit 3 to 6 times
- have about a 5 radius
i just want to know what offsets will make a complete circle with a 5 radius around lets say colossus, i can probably make it go around multiple times by setting amount of times it uses the persistent effect.
Best bet is the old graph paper and pencil on a string that winds around a pole of a certain diameter method for determining the offsets for a spiral.
i ended up getting an image of graph paper and making a circle on it then using a plane to figure it out.
For people that want a circle with a radius of 4 around a unit here's the offsets:

You could make another persistent effect which uses that persistent effect 5 times.
i got it to keep spinning by doing a create persistent to call the other persistent for some reason now its working w.e anyways still need to find a way to have the spiral

i dont think this will work with the ion saw it actually uses a mover to get the directions
ill have to play around with it

tried that it doesn't work i might use just a spiral and have it go around with a circle at the end of spiral.

Spiral offsets it can fit just before the circle because the last point in the spiral is the starting point in the circle
big problem the editor cant have more than 32 offsets this is a problem. Is there anyway around this i want the spiral and the circle at the end
