The silence was really bothering me as it's really breaking immersion when trying to create a campaign map, so I've tried to find ways to add voices to my map.
Problem is, I don't have the equipment, experience, skill or talent to do voice acting, so I tried to turn to text to speech utilities. So far, I've gotten a really crappy zerg voice (apparently most free machine learning solutions can't work with zerg voices, they're too far off from human voices and nobody trains models for them), and a terran officer voice that sounds like an adjudicant:

I feel like it's a tiny bit better, but the voices being that bad can break immersion too. What do you feel?
I liked the idea, never thought of using text to speech.
I think the zerg voice could be used to like say the simulant faction for Zergs. It sounds kind of robotic.
