ASE is a place for game designers from Unity3D or UDK users to StarCraft 2 map makers to request music and sounds.
Using high quality professional grade hardware and software ASE obliterates all competition.
ASE is highly flexible for your games. Any sound you can think of can be made with just a little bit of time and work. And most filesizes can be reduced greatly to ensure high quality sound and uninterrupted game development.
Equipment and Software
ASE uses the powerful software tool Ableton and the Ableton Push controller to manipulate audio in a very advanced way.
Anything is possible from simple explosions to full length music for your game.
ASE also is equipped with high-end recording studio equipment. Voice acting isn't a specialization, but voice recording is possible and can be used to make "Double Kill/Multi Kill" type voice overs.
With the Ableton engine recorded voices can be altered to sound completely unique, or even otherworldly.
Audio you have that you want manipulated?
That's no problem at all. Just send the audio to [email protected]with detail on what you want the sound to come out as and we can work together to make the perfect sound.
I think this is really cool and I'm supportive of that someone is offering non-editor skills to map makers. I know there are artists, 2D and 3D, that do the same but this is the first I've heard of a sound-er-ist person.
I don't know. I guess I just think it's really cool. I wonder what other skill sets will be offered in the future.
I just noticed I didn't clip the end right.
I purposely made the clip longer than the actual length of the voice over so that the echo effects wouldn't be interrupted, but I forgot to turn looping off.
What is Aphotic's Sound Emporium (ASE)?

Thanks a lot! I just figured I would open my horizon to sc2 custom games, because they're kind of awesome
Do a copy of the SC1 Overmind voice effect:
I'm considering switching, so I want to see what Ableton can do. Here's an audio file if you need voice acting: http://sclegacy.com/_staff/gradius/overmindstarting.wav
I'm working on this now, Gradius12.
It's a tricky one because there is a very fine line between this voice and a protoss-esque voice.
I think I'm going in the right direction though ;)
Try this out!
@NAAphotic: Go
Nice job!
Thanks!

As soon as I get home I can fix that.
Here's the current soundtrack for my map MageCraft, it's not done but I figured people could give it a listen to see what I can do.
