hello, i have a serious issue about my map design.
I want to make some "house shape" interior so i use the manor texture files and i do cliffs.
The problem is, my walls are for exemple: 1x8 / 1x8 / 1x8 / 1x7 and its perfectly fine if i do them on a diagonal perspective, but ugly af if i made them normaly : https://image.ibb.co/fRE2PT/Terrain_001.jpg
Could you please elaborate what exactly is ugly? I can't see a difference to be honest, other than that the lighting makes the normal walls look darker.
just look at the shape, the left one is a perfect cube , like an house, the other one have sharped angle at each ends and curves, if i want to put a door or somthing like this it will alway look ugly on the right one
You can get rid of the pointy edges of a non-diagonal wall if you increase their width (make them at least two units wide instead of the one unit width as seen on the picture).
