@nolanstar: Go Yes, I used the textures from LotV. I have been trying to use existing textures whenever possible to reduce total file size. I know mods with a lot of custom units can get huge.
The death models I uploaded work exactly like the originals used to make them, so a few of them are ragdoll deaths. They are all just retextures so making a dragoon ragdoll death may be beyond my reach for now.
I want to release models free of bugs and glitches, but unfortunately it is not possible for some cases. One of them is the Dropship pack. Blender plugin does not support displacement animations like the one used by the Medivac model, so I can't finish it. I ask your help to raise awareness and maybe get Blizzard's attention that the community needs an import feature for their art tools!
Here's a screenshot just to show one of the things I've been working on. But I have a huge list of unfinished models I will share with you later.
Looks like a mobile battlefield brothel.Though, if marines can't get rid of their battle costumes, it's useless for them. Those costumes must be having some preinstalled machinery to simulate stuff. So, this "whoreship"? may be used for officerls, like ghosts? Though, I'd expect ghost to be so much psychically trained so they can either be focused enough to avoid thinking about sex while being on long missions, or they may even have an ability to imagine sexual penetration so realistically to trick their body into believing they really having sex, so they get their relief because of strong trained mind. So, probably no one will build this unit, Soul. They just don't need it.
@Kanitala: Go That would make sense. Specially if she used it to visit "Matthew". But the inspiration was Lt Morales' Love Doctor skin from Heroes.
@Zolden: Go LOL, I guess we will have to make it a very cheap flying brothel then.
Here's another work in progress. Patch 3.7 "leaked" a few assets, probably for the last part of covert ops, and when I saw it I had to bring it back to life, or should I say undeath?
Yeah, one of these included some space station assets, mostly recolored from the Shadow Ops platform from LotV. We can pretty sure bet one of the three missions will be a space station.

Ooooh, what new models got leaked? Mind showing us? :D
eeh.. they made it wrong.. the one-pair-of-blade-arms ultralisk was having a totally different head, but noup, they went with the new hyper-evolved one .u.
I guess it could be a link between the two, but i still think they did it wrong..
here's old ultralisk head and those are either rows of mandibles like on abathur, or big tusks, which are both cooler
Well until blizzard gives use a high def remake I doubt we can make out certain features based on how many x how many pixel sprites? Anyone know any concept art sources?
@Veratai: Go It isn't from the old strain, my model was unfinished when I posted. But you guys can be very.... obsessed when talking about how things looked in SC1. Things were redesigned for SC2, so even though there should be differences between SC1 and SC2 ultras they don't need to reflect what the original sprites looked like. Well, that's my opinion, no need to raise pitchforks and torches.
@DrSuperEvil: Go I think those are mandibles for a vertical mouth.
Honestly the way the lore got screwed in SC2 you're just better off making things that look cool, and your skeleton ultralisk looks pretty snazzy. I wouldn't worry about whether or not your monster design matches the designs from a different game when the main story doesn't even make sense.
True The whole xelnaga thing got pretty Lovecraftian for no reason. Was meant to be Kerrigan and a protoss going divine but then they threw it all away with the weak tassadar shoehorn.
@SoulFilcher: Go
I originally thought it was meant to be the neck due to the low rez (and I have played SC1). As stated until I see some original concept art I am undecided.
Stranded on Krydon Renewed- A renewed version of Stranded on Krydon that is being constantly updated, has improved visuals, is more friendly to new players, lots more fun tweaks and much more planned to come.
heh, no pitchforks and torches here xD I'll be having a go at creating an ultralisk that's similar to how i see it, if things go well with my custom protoss dark templar model. so far i can't even start because i'm waiting on meshes that aren't mangled and twisted up into some sort of a 'kill me' pose, lol
Interesting images, though one thing I don't like, I'm getting tired of and I'm sure people will agree with me, is the old bull of 'Red is Bad' cliche, in which even the Dominion was made blue, all just to say, 'oh, these are the good guys!'. With the Tal'Darim, I can understand you can't avoid it, but forcing red and blue to sides that don't even fit doesn't even make the slightest sense, at all. I mean, what was the best part in Dawn of War? The Blood Ravens, why? 'Coz they didn't care about the red color!
Oh, sorry, just venting a bit. And I'm just tired of that cliche, just that.
Yeah am inclined to agree, at lease the Zerg are do not seem to apply.

@SoulFilcher: Go
sadly blizzards mode support is low i mean only 250 mb for mods i have to use 3 different accounts for the amount of assets im using

By any chance does this dropship belong to Mira Han? xD

I'm not sure why would an ultralisk need them. oO I'm gonna stick with rows of stubby mandibles.
