Exporting from the editor, yeah, that's a different story. But if you want to get all the textures an m3 is using, you can just use the export from the scene itself in 3ds max. That's probably easier if you wanted to post something.
Unfortunately I think you already work much faster than my fastest work. Assets are something that always take a fair amount of time to go through. It took a year and a half for my last project to cycle through 4 races of revised models and all of the few hundred particles. I suspect my current project will again mostly be asset and testing work as far as time is concerned. I have hundreds of models to port.

Any chance you could make a grapple hook? The grapple hook would basically work like the Viper's Abduct ability beam. So it essentially is a hook on one end of a beam and the rest looks like a rope. Normally I'd use a work around or something but there's nothing close to a grapple hook as far as I'm aware.

Hi everyone, I just made a small tool for icon making. It can create the icon, shield and wireframe pictures for your unit models. I hope this can be helpful to your custom model projects.

Now a mod update file and a new mod of mine in "Assets" page are stuck waiting approval. All my old mods show 404 errors and I can't modify my uploaded files or change the introduction of my mods. It's really terrible... I have to say, in China we never get such troubles blablabla...
Sorry for my complaining, it doesn't mean that SC2mapster isn't a good forum, just I wish there will be a better user experience on assets sharing.
Today I have made a new spaceship model, it's not finished but already looks weird, I copy some ideas from mudskipper fish.
I recommend you upload everything in a .zip format to mapster. Those seem to have less problems. And truth be told mapster is long over due for updates, but the community isn't big enough to warrant the attention from curse.
That is one awesome boat/submarine/plane/it's really hard to tell what it is.

The weird one, I don't know what it should be, I made it because someone told me that I should try more different ship models instead of all look like puritano. So I tried the fish-like ship, maybe now it can be a submarine for special use such as in a horizontal version action game or RPG, it's too alternative in a RTS now.
Honestly for the hook model I envision it as a retextured viper abduct beam. So that the whole thing sorta looks like rope and then on the end you have a hook. I don't think it's anything complex but I don't have the skill to modify it like this.
The ship design is quite interesting. And is a refreshing piece to add to your collection.

We still need some easier shortcut methods to do this, if there are 1000+ models and 30, 000+ textures, it still takes to much time.

It will be a little hard to control the cordage, for it's soft material and can be rolled up and down. But I can have a try.

I have finished this tonight...to now most US aircrafts are finished, Next week I will move to Russian air force part.
I have designed an aircraft combat map project, but I am still too busy to post plan in thread and recruit members myself.
I could possibly do voice acting for you but only in the future (december-ish) because of my moving troubles.
