Today there is a new model, I was going to make something like lance strike, but I failed, so I modified the semi-manufacture and made this.
And one more thing, For long time I did few requests from community because of my poor health conditions and equation of time between China and western countries. So I am planning to make a new thread, and help everyone who replies about art tool tutorials or model requests, I will try my best since there are many guys PMed me and I failed their expect. In this special service I will work in real time face to face with you guys.
I will be ready in 2 days. Best wishes from China.
Thanks, we are working on the "Obama Escape" mission. But my partner got some personal stuff days ago and Renee was busy too, so far progress is very slow...
Also these days it looks like that some weird things happened to my Chrome, very low speed when linked to SC2mapster and I can't reply the personal messages.
Anyway, today there are some new models, I focused on trail particles for two night and hived some interesting skills.
Well mapster is quite buggy to begin with. So the connection issues might not really be your fault. Worst case scenario you can make an email just for requests, though that does seem like a lot of work.
@IskatuMesk: Go
Thanks IskatuMesk, the zolden.zip is a model that zolden requested for his air combat game, it's not a SC2 project so he needs obj files instead m3.
The UV un-warp works can be done in 15 to 30 mins, I prefer UVlayout as my tool on this works, it's fast and intuitive grasp. I used the 3dcoat as my texture tools, it can texture the normal maps and dif/spec maps at the same time, so it's very fast but not high precisions. Usually I need 1 or 2 hours to do this and some more time to added small details.

Anyway it goes better now, thanks for attention. I will leave an Email address for that use as backup.

Thanks, Just like which unclesatan has pointed out, I still need more practices on this, you know the modeling isn't my adept part. But I am glad to know that we can limit even more time in this progress (I have thought 3 hours is short before, good to know that we can be even faster.)

Thanks to give me more hope on this. You know since there are few model artists working on SC2, I am always looking for faster (and better of course) methods so that I can do more models in same time. Please teach me more so that I can server more mapsters.
I will be extremely excited if you can teach me some Zbrush and sculpture skills. Best wishes.
This how it looks like in SC2, with some clouds and Mr Dustin to add ambience.
Some new models, the Death effect is for Mseverns's request.
all of those look amazing. i particularly like the 3rd one, really cool looking! the sword in the stone one is impactful as well :)
as for teaching you zbrush, i'd be happy to show you some of the things i've learned! i'm still learning myself, and when it comes to making something like a jet (hard surface) i have a long ways to go.
if you have zBrush already, and you're looking for some quick hard surface techniques, i've been watching these videos.
You have to bake the animations.
I could never get 3ds max cloth to do anything besides collapse into a black hole and freeze the program immediately after, personally.
I have made a small guide about the flag animations.
Too bad that toothache comes back to me, this time it's the other side of my poor mouth.

Tested a minimap effect, now it works mostly like the minimap in "Need for Speed" and WOW.
And another life absorption spell effect.
Made a Rock effect and storm of blades. Used the PhysX to calculate the destroy animations.
I really like that rock animation. Reminds me of what we made back in Starcraft 1.

Nice effect~
Today there are two more model too. I should keep this speed as long as I can.

The sun is awesome great work there. I also like the detail in your building.

Loving the missiles/effects as always.
Is Zolden.zip that flying unit? On average, how long does it take for you to UV/texture something like that?

A new model here, I haven't gotten enough time to import it into SC2. The screenshot comes from 3dcoat.
(All works finished in 3 hours, just try to test my top speed.)
!
Very nice. I was actually looking at converting one of those for my Soviet faction very soon... but it seems like you might save me the trouble.
I really like the beam from your last shot, but 3 hours to make a jet with texture and all is no small feat! Everything looks incredible as usual :)
Beautiful model! The best fighter jet that I have seen so far made for sc2.

he shows off alot of really useful techniques for easily designing hard surface objects! if you have any questions feel free to PM me any time :)
Looks good! How did make the clouds in the screenshot with the jetfighter and the other aircraft?
