Good point :), I will make an extra model to add that effect.
Here is a new effect model, looks similar as the skill effect of Lili in new HOTS video, the model contains Chinese Kongfu elements like peach petals and leaves. I like it so much that I can't wait to copy one in SC2 tools.
Hey just stopping by to say that your spell effects are really impressive, I like em a lot!
also not sure if particles can work the same way but if you use white textures for some of the effect models in SC2, you can use in-game tinting to true tint them.
Also can you do any particles that are team coloured? like new hero-glows and such?

The particles do can be colored like normal models (while some models such as some splat models can't .) But making a white model and coloring it in the game with Actor won't be a good idea in most situations. Most time the effects models contain complex combo of different colors, transparences and glows. So single actor can't adjust the effects to perfect. I still prefer to keep them as they should be, if we need models with different colors, we can make new ones, to my experiences this won't need much time.
Today I just add Arthas (WOW) animations to marine model with an m3a. I haven't do this for months but it's still fun.
On a side nite did you ever finish that animation tutorial? It's not horribly important if you didn't but if you did and I never noticed I'd like to know about it. Thanks!
Thanks JacktheArcher, that does helped me to understand the fishy culture in SC2mapster. I will add a fish into my portrait ASAP.
I have received many requests and invite of discussions, but I just didn't get time to reply them. My apologizes for the delays, don't worry, I will spend my whole night today to solve them.

Thanks guys, too bad that the fishy carnival is over. I love these fishes which have big eyes.
Finally I just replied most E-mails and skype messages. I will upload a some tutorial about split animations in hours. (Sorry, I just don't get enough time to make a video tutorial instead).
Last two weeks I got a toothache, if there are some requests or messages I still haven't replied, don't worry, I will try my best to finish them tonight.
Your new additions are really nice, but I would like to suggest something; for the final one, I think that the ripple effect should go inward, because it is kind of misleading, seeing the particles on the sphere having a negative speed and the ripples to go outward.
I tried yesterday to toy with cloth modifier - there is no way I can make it work. Although it animates in 3ds Max, it doesn't export it as an animaton in Cutscene. :(

very cool, adding a impact splat might look good as well (similar to the nuke.)
scorched earth would really emphasize the intensity of the heat.

I have spent a week to learn how to use SC2 editor (still learning now). Well, today I have got some time to finish this UI model scene.

I still need some tests and suggestions from nanakey and Renee, after that I will finish it and show another preview.
Freaking amazing spells MAN! This Marine paladins looks outstanding you should develop this concept further :>
@abvdzh: Go Thanks abvdzh, we will make a Marine paladin character next week. I will show them as soon as we finish it.
Hi everyone, I wonder why there are so many fish forum portrait in sc2mapser, is it some kinds of fashion?
Here are a A-10 model and a mudskipper gif. I love fishes too (these who have mobile eyes.).
@Delphinium1987: Go http://www.sc2mapster.com/forums/general/off-topic/64945-apparently-the-mozared-thread/?page=9#p178 that's why we all have fishy portraits.

Amazing job. The flag decomposition effect is so great-looking. Well done!
By the way, did you use a Cloth modifier to animate the flag or is it an in-game model?
That's a very interesting air unit you got there.
@PharaonicAssault: Go
It's a modified in-game model, but I can do similar animations in 3dsmax with star tools and cloth modifier.
@IskatuMesk: Go
Thanks. I am going to attach it to our David Kim character.
Today here are some new models as well.
