A new UI based on models for our project. With these models we are trying to do some 3D UI such as portraits, health points and so on.
Till now everything is OK.
Hi, long time no see, I sent an invite to you on skype, maybe you didn't see it.
Unfortunately my last models are seriously based on SC2 editor to achieve the functions which they designed to be, but my partner is busy on some other things. So till now this models are still malfunctional, but technically they should work well.
That reminds me of war3's Blademaster Blade Storm ability but with lasers instead of a blade, the Maraud should've been sliced to pieces before the explostion even happened.
So you made a blizzard, now a thunderstorm
Is the effect available without the ship and possibly in some other color? Green like in the movie below or bluish
Now I see you have removed the cloudy part around the hole. Maybe it was better to keep it like it was in the movie:
And I think if you repeat what this movie did would be best
Glad that you like these models, if you do need the warp in/out model like the one in the movie, I will create one specially for you, I will upload the new model soon.
I finished the UI model, it's a very very complex model contains multiple functions, but most interesting one should be the thermal image effect, it can change original picture into red and green.
All the animations in the UI model has a special function such as control the Hit points/Energy or Shield, characters' emotions and portraits, fold or unfold a part of UI and so on. It will be used in our SLG projects but it also should be suit to these TPS and FPS maps.
It's just a display, I do want to use this to play story and movies, but we have not produce a good spaceship internal apparatus like Deadspace (Oh, that's really horrible) or Halo, so a long way to go I think.
Finally we named our project as "Dustin", in the story we will show our understanding and suspects of the void in the SC2 universe and the fate of two ancient races.
Heh, reminds me of my projects back in WC3. Back then my partner in crime was called froggygoggy. We shall see if the frog + cat combination is superior to frog + chicken :D (currently it totally looks like it is)

That's very nice thanks, though I fear that from too many less important models for me, I will not be able to ask for more important models that I may need (like that robot I showed earlier). Though sure - actually some other guy also offered and asked that you made the effect as it is in the video. But I must say one part of the particles you made is nice to remain - the part where these sparks are pulled forward when the ship finishes the Hyperspace (though this is probably ship-specific to add those sparks in the end mb better without for a generic model, I don't know)
Here is Gamon. (Gamon will save us! :) )
WOW models always have many animations, and this one has 90+ animations, just naming these animations costed me so much time that I can't finish another model (AC-130 Galaxy) tonight...

You know that we can uncheck the anims we don't use in wmv, right? 90+ sounds just above everything. I usually use 4 anims and still don't like the part where I set names and start/end frames.
:) I did this for special reasons, 3 hours hard work won't be just only for a Gamon with many animations, but 90 fresh animations for every SC2 characters you want, m3a file is really amazing.
Hmm, are you doing what I think you're doing? Are you converting a whoooole bunch of WoW anims into an .m3a file that can be used for different sc2 characters?
Sorry, Blizzard tried that, and they didn't really success. Your conceive is too hard to a little tree frog (Of cause it wants that magic thing.).
My solution is still need modifications to each original models in 3dsmax, but after that the m3a can works well on Blizzard's official models, the process mostly won't cost more than ten minutes.

Second Part of my new UI model, the main display for cameras and cutscenes, it also contains some special mode for particular uses.
thermal imaging effect, can change the camera images into heat images.
night-vision effect, can change the image to black and white.
Really nice effects!

A new kind of Dustin here.

wow thats totally like those machines from ff3/ff6

Your creations are good~ I am just a little tree frog and mostly no match anyone of you...
Here is a new model for replacing Blizzard's base blood bar. As always, I added some cool stuff in it for better visual effect.
Happy Mid-autumn Day! Best wishes from China.

I will try my best as soon as I get enough time.

Gamon will be a melee teacher in the future.

Could still be useful I guess.
Oh, I see. Than it definitely worth it.
