Pretty much as says, I want a Team Colored Pylon Splat, since it can be seen on ALL settings.
My goal is to emulate heroes team glow http://pwrcords.files.wordpress.com/2012/10/warcraft-3-7d.jpg on ALL settings, Omni Lights only work on high, and are VERY dull. but the pylon splat glows, and looks perfect, it just needs to be team colored.
or if you have a work around way, Maybe somehow tinting it but i have 6 players and a boss, sooo I need 7 colors, at probably once :D. and it needs to track the team color of each player. so it can match it correctly. and I dont want to pre-choose anyones team color.
I tried team coloring it myself but its texture pylon_Emissive, Is pre Fully team colored except one circle in the middle, where it gets its blue color from apparently, so its like it uses Black alpha for transparency.

Edit: Particle Emitters dont work :P, When scaled ALL of it grows, if I Adjust the X, the X Y and Z auto adjust.
Figured I'd necro this rather than post a new one, can anyone hook a brother up? I tried using the texture set by id to switch it to a team coloured texture but to no avail

Its not possible right now I am afraid, the Unofficial art tools dont support the splat, and new Official ones arn't out yet. My suggestion is to wait for the art tools and then ask, or wait till Dota Beta, and grab the hero glow from there.
I can tint to specific colours if using triggers or data, right now I'm working on specific upgrades for each color, that will tint all the projectiles / glow that colour (so you can have more than the basic team colours, The problem being that due to the original blue hue and omni light, the colours look off and bad, I tried texture swapping it but it wasnt working out

Tinting something to team color is completely possible in the wol editor; in fact i have team colored projectiles in my own map.
