I'm back after a long hiatus. Too much to do IRL, wish I had a time machine.
The Orc and Skeleton still need to be optimized in startools. I really need to finish those models, but I keep getting sidetracked with other stuff to do.
I've been workin on my first attempt on a portrait model. Still a work in progress, but it's getting close to where I want it now.
Just 2 things I noticed: the reflected light on his forehead look a bit too intense and glossy, like his skin is covered by some glaze or varnish. Also, the bottom of the beard look rough and not so natural. But the whole thing is impressive as fuck.
This is foquin' awesome. You should grab this stuff to do some remake of the WC games. It would be something I definitely want to play with this quality.

Yeah, about 10 creators already doing that. If Triceron will publish his models I doubt that they wont use them in their wc3 remakes.

Are people blind? But seriously they ask for the remake of warcraft games while the topics wich contains the progress about them are dead. -.-" BTW I don't know Triceron wheter you saw our models or not but if you have time pls. watch them and tell your opinion
Thanks for the crits! I'm gonna tweak the spec and add a bit more grit to him. I'll need to fix the alpha on his beard as well, and probably make it less white than it is right now. I use Sculptrix, Maya and Photoshop mainly, with Max as the exporter for SC2.
I've been getting some models set up for Startools. It's a pain having to recreate shaders and set up the animations again for them all. I'll probably be including weaponless versions of some of them as well, with separate weapon models as attachments. I haven't touched some of these models for a couple months, so I'll have to look over which ones are ready for publishing and which ones still need work. I'm aiming to upload some of these within a week or so!
I've uploaded 4 new models that have been coverted using Startools. Joining the previous Footman model are now the Grunt, Axethrower, Archer and Rifleman.
Nice, I'm sure a lot of people will be happy to use these. I downloaded them to check them out ( First to download I think! ). Some things I noticed while viewing in the cutscene editor.
The Troll doesn't seem to have RGBA to enable team colors. He's just red for me.
The Archers Stand Wound animation is either messed up, really really short, or shouldn't be there.
The Riflemans walk animation is walking into the air.
Are you still working on the Orc and Skeleton Triceron?

Who's that? Lord Lothar??
These models are incredibly awesome O.O
@Triceron: Go
Nice style, the texture looks like a bit painted figure (but as you said you need more work on it)
Sir Lothar looking suitably badass :o
Badass indeed.

Nice! What did you use? Mubox, ZBrush... did you polypaint it or hand drawn?
Keep it up!
Cheers T.

The models are good and fit in with any medieval/fantasy map.

Thanks for catching the bugs!
The Troll didn't have team colors yet, but it should be a fairly easy change to make. I'll add this to the list.
I'm not entirely sure what's going on with the Rifleman's animations. I'll take a look in the max files tomorrow
Could you post a picture of the models for the curious ? :)
Hahaha, this pic is great. I love it.
Congratulations man, because your work is just... awesome.
I wish someday I can do these things too :(
Great to see you have uploaded those models. What are your plans about the others, like ballista or a mage on a horse?
