Hello I have a quick question. Its stupid and I should know what to do but I just cant figure it out. Whenever I try to copy and paste a new unit the picture doenst show on the unit pallette and when I click on it and hover it over the map theres no unit showing up. If I click sometimes then it just shows this white globe. If anyone can help me out that would be great because Ive been trying to figure it out for ever...
Look under actors. Copying units does not copy their actor (visual appearances) you will find the unit you copied from has a unit and probably several other action/missile actors which you need to copy. You then need to change the events of the actors that they link to your unit and not the unit copied from. Make sure you remember the start/stop states of the terms as they reset when you change the unit refered to.
Read some of the tutorials as they often cover in great detail inportant events for making your unit show.
Don't "copy paste" units, right click them, press duplicate, make sure all boxes except the unit itself and the actor are UNchecked, hit "ok" or whatever the button is called (never paid attention)
That'll prevent most problems i believe
