Hi,
I have the tychus chaingun unit and after applying a buff I want to increase the size of the muzzle flash. But it looks like the actor event Set Scale doesnt change it. any way to do that? scaling the Launch Assets.
Imho, the duplication of things is a bad habit. There are few ways to do it, avoiding that. Thankfully actor system in sc2 is dynamic, pretty similiar to triggers. Any actor is controlled by messages sent to it. Actor work is basicaly a triggers for visuals, where you can set variables with RefSet message (::scope.(name) for local ::global(name) for global) also any actor given his own default identifier within the scope it created, and you can access it by using it's name. It takes plenty of time to understand logic of this stuff. Just inspect presets in the editor.

Make buff change the weapon, and have two copies of same weapon one using different actor.
@maticpl: Go
I tried to avoid that. is there seriously no other way?! damn
Sizes of models are handle by actors.
