I want to edit that fog that shows up at the bottom of chasms in a map, most notably, I want to make it visible and tint it blue, on a map using the Bel'Shir tileset. How do I go about doing that? I tried following the instructions in that topic, but it seems there's no "Terrain Texture Sets" in the data editor, only "Terrain Textures" and each entry contains no fog options...
It's not Terrain Texture Sets, it's Terrain Types.
Under the Jungle folder you will find Bel'Shir. Near the top of the data-fields at the right of the data window when you press on Bel'Shir you will see 'Fog Color'. Click on it, then click on the color box. You'll be able to pick a color from there.
Below Fog Color is Fog Density. Increasing the number makes the fog thicker.
To change the height of fog, it's the Fog Starting Height field you are after.
Below is a map that demonstrates fog changes through triggers:
Type in these to change the fog:
fog1 - blue fog pretty much only in the chasm.
fog2 - green fog everywhere.
fog3 - no fog.
